Dreaming Costs Nothing

I haven't really made many posts this year, but it's been one of the most hectic and busiest years of my life. So much has happened, so much has changed, and just like I said last year, I'm a completely different person than I was typing this post up the previous year.

This year started out pretty normally for me, being drunk on the sofa at midnight on the 1st of January, wishing in a good new year to those around, little did I know it would be such a massive roller coaster of a year.

Three Months

An awful lot can happen in 3 months...

So much has happened this year so far, I couldn't sum it all up in one blog post. It's been one of those years, with its ups and downs, stresses, relief, happiness and sadness. I feel that I'm constantly learning as I go through life, and that this year just like all the years before it I've become a different person and my view on the world has changed significantly.

2015.. That was a year.

It doesn’t seem two minutes since I was here last year typing out a summary of my year, but so much has changed in 2015, my life is once again completely different to what it was last year. I’ve made a few friends, lost a few friends, learnt a lot about life and done some things.

Time is a force, and it will surely take it's course. It will take from all of you taking with it all the things you had planned to do.

As I get older I'm starting to experience the phenomenon of time going by faster and faster.. Not literally things speeding up, but the feeling of looking back on a week and thinking 'holy shit how is it sunday again'. This feeling scares me.

What a year. Where do I start?

2014 has been an amazing year for me. So much has changed, and I've learnt so much about life this year. It's been the best year of my life, without a doubt, and it only seems to be getting better!

I have a driving test next week..

I've been wanting to be able to drive for as long as I can remember. And now here I am, all grown up with a car on the drive and keys in my pocket. The only problem is the big red 'L' stuck to the front of my freedom machine. I want it gone, and next week is my oppertunity to get rid of it, as well as the passenger constantly arguing with me while I drive (sorry Dad).

Night time is when I do most of my thinking. I often consider topics such as where my future will lead me and what’s going to happen in my life and the rest of the world in the coming years. For some reason or another, night seems to be the time my brain is most active, whilst the mornings are when I feel the most tired. Perhaps it’s the constant consumption of caffeine through the drinks I have all day that keeps me up at night.

Final Push

Seeing Kettering Town FC reach the playoffs this year was quite an amazing feeling. After a bad few seasons of financial distress, low moral and only a few months ago staring death in the face, at the start of the season I'd begun to think it was all over for the club.
